1. Moore Park Golf Course

Location: Cleveland Street, Moore Park NSW 2021, Australia

This is Sydney’s crowd pleaser of Public Access golf courses. The course is located within the leafy trees of Moore Park in a convenient, central location. Established over 100 years ago, Moore Park offers an 18-hole championship course suitable for golf players of all skill levels. 

2. The Coast Golf Club

Location: Coast Hospital Road, Little Bay NSW 2036

Nestled amongst the cliffs of Sydney’s south coast, The Coast Golf Club boasts unforgettable experiences of ocean-side golfing. Only 10 minutes from the CBD, a short drive from the iconic Bondi Beach and just footsteps from glittering Sydney Harbour, Woollahra Golf Club is a 9-hole course that is simply a pleasure to play. With exceptionally well-manicured greens and fairways, this public access course offers what you’d expect at some of Sydney’s best private courses.

4. New South Wales Golf Club

Location: Kamay Botany Bay National Park, Henry Head Lane, La Perouse NSW 2036

Another ocean-side pick, New South Wales Golf Club makes for a memorable golfing experience. Situated in La Perouse, this course can be a walk in a park or the challenge of a century - it all depends on the ocean gusts! Service at their Clubhouse is always favourable making for a wonderful day of golfing.

5. Bondi Golf Club

Location: Military Road, North Bondi NSW 2026

Amongst all the glamour of Bondi, this humble course packs a punch. Don’t be fooled by the fact it’s only 9 holes! Set amongst beautiful terrain, Bondi Golf Course boasts a 360 view of the Tasman Seas, Sydney city skyline, and of course, Bondi Beach.

5. Strathfield Golf Club

Location: Weeroona Road, Strathfield NSW 2135

Eastern suburb golf courses tend to get all the attention. We wouldn’t want you to miss out on this gem of a course in Strathfield, only a 20 minute drive from Sydney’s CBD. With lush fairways and an abundance of alfresco dining areas, Strathfield Golf Club has absolutely earned its spot on our list! Golfers will be impressed with the meticulously cared for greens, and families can enjoy the panoramic views in the café and dining area.
